John Ioannidis says that much of what we think we know about medicine is false and that the majority of the information doctors rely on when they treat us is flawed.He is the Chair of the Department of Hygiene and Epidemiology at the University of Ionnina School of Medicine in Greece. He's also a professor at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston.

And yet studies show it is often under-treated and many physicians say they feel ill-equipped to manage not only the physical symptoms. So they offer up drugs, which have their own hazards.
